Get Involved

Be apart of the solution and have some fun!

Your volunteer potential has never been stronger, the need has never been greater, and the time to get involved has never been better. Finding the opportunity that best suits your skills, availability, and expectations can make all the difference in your experience. You have the power to leave a lasting legacy through service to others.

The Pennsylvania American Legion is an organization with many “avenues” to choose with volunteering. You can donate, participate, volunteer, and advocate.

Donate

Your gift is a big help with many of our ongoing programs for financial assistance, scholarships, Endowment Fund, Fisher House and National Emergency Fund. When you donate to The Pennsylvania American Legion you can earmark your check as to what program you are supporting.

Participate

Get involved with Pennsylvania American Legion in the many programs and services we have to offer. You can help us by participating in fund raising efforts and helping support our many programs to enhance your community.

Volunteer

Pennsylvania American Legion is at work in communities all across the state providing programs aimed to educate our youth, support our veterans and make a positive influence in our communities. Getting involved in these programs will promote The Pennsylvania American Legion and support our communities; whether your Post sponsors a local blood drive, holds a flag folding ceremony at your community school or volunteers at the VA hospital.

Advocate

The American Legion is a veteran service organization that is bipartisan but has political agendas. We care about America, veterans and their families and our nation’s youth. We are a strong and powerful voice in Washington dedicated to preserving the rights we were promised by our service to our country.

Again, thank you for making the decision to get involved! Together, we can make a positive impact in your neighborhood, the commonwealth and on the entire nation. We are “Still Serving America!”
