The annual State ride raised almost forty thousand dollars. The final figure will be reported on the floor at Convention. The ride had Great weather and no safety issues. All are looking forward to next year’s ride. The ALR program is truly an American Legion family that understands our purpose.
As stated in past year’s this is our prime riding season. We stress motorcycle safety and awareness while riding.
The ALR started the kickoff for our annual Flag day/ Roundup at Post 751 Enola and rode to Department Headquarters for opening ceremonies. Commander Lavelle and family were in our hearts as we rode, along with thoughts and prayers.
AGAIN, on June 16th, the ALR celebrated Department Scholarship Endowment fund Chairman Samuel Worley’s 103rd Birthday. Sam is truly an inspiration to all.
The 2024-2025 ALR Leadership officers will be announced and recognized on the floor at Convention.
On behalf of the Department ALR committee we Thank Department Commander Steve Lavelle for our appointments. We are Pennsylvania Proud to have served and had another very successful Legion year for our program.
