Riders sixth annual ride to end Childhood cancer
The American Legion Riders recently held their sixth annual Ride to End Childhood Cancer, raising $5,220 to be distributed among four children’s hospitals, $1,305 each to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Penn State Children’s Hospital, Hershey. The 50-mile ride route took them around the outskirts of the Gettysburg area through the countryside, other area towns, to East Cavalry Field of the Gettysburg Battlefield and back to American Legion Post 202.
