The Vietnam War was unlike any other war. It was the only war where American citizens attacked its own military because they were unhappy.
A new state law makes March 29 Vietnam War Veterans Day in Pennsylvania.
“This will go a long way to help heal that wound,” John Fritz of the Pennsylvania American Legion Department said. “It’s very important that we recognize them and make them feel appreciated for what they went through.”
