Thanks to the generous support from local businesses, the Walter W. Craig American Legion Post was able to hold a Chinese auction at the Peanut Butter Festival in September.

Our auction was very successful and the money we received will be applied toward the Legion’s dream of putting a parklet next to the Redbank Valley Veterans Park.

Thank you to the following businesses that made this endeavor a great success: Burger King, Byers’ Barbershop, Canyon Coffee, Joe’s Pizza, The Jewelry Shop, Evermoore’s Restaurant, Fisher and Father Auto Parts, District Judge Jeff Miller, Klingensmith’s Drug Store, The Leader-Vindicator, Redbank Chevrolet, Smith Tool and Supply, Sunoco, The Grooming Lab, Tom’s Riverside, Village Pizza and Subs, The Brick House Bed and Breakfast, Hopper Corp., Distant Village Mart, Hard Core Tire, Campbell’s Auto Service, Heeter Lumber, M&S Meats, Land Pro John Deere, Palmer’s Store, Long Shot Ammo and Arms, Nolf Chrysler Dodge, Rest Assured, Ferringer’s Auto Service, Hetrick’s Farm Supply, John Milliron, Subway, TechReady Professionals, Sharp Shopper, Whispers in White and J&D Snap Jewelry. My apology if I missed anyone.

We would also like to thank the many women who did an outstanding job of getting the donations and putting up our display.

RAY ISHMAN

Commander,
