We had the honor of having our first 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony this morning. We were blessed with beautiful weather and so many wonderful guests. Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward of the Pennsylvania Senate, Westmoreland County Commissioners Sean Kertes and Doug Chew, and Unity Township Supervisors Mike O'Barto, Ed Poponick, and John Mylant. We had Pennsylvania American Legion Auxiliary Past Department President Kelly Moyer, Department of Pennsylvania American Legion Riders Region 1 Director Don Truxal, Pennsylvania American Legion District 31 Commander James Drnjevich and Pennsylvania American Legion Western Section Vice Commander Doug Yetzer, honor us with their attendance and inspiring words. And we cannot forget our American Legion Riders Unity Township Chapter 982 Riders and all our Post 982 members, Post 982 officers, and Legion Family officers and also visiting members from other Pennsylvania American Legion Posts and Latrobe VFW POST 3414who attended as well.
