National Cemetery Program

Pennsylvania currently has Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington Crossing National Cemetery available for burial.

There are a few cemeteries that are closed except the only interments that are being accepted are subsequent interments for veterans or eligible family members in an existing gravesite.  Periodically however, burial space may become available due to a canceled reservation or when a disinterment has been completed. The Pennsylvania cemeteries that are closed are Philadelphia National Cemetery, Allegheny Cemetery Soldiers’ Lot, Ashland Cemetery Soldiers’ Lot, Mount Moriah Cemetery Soldiers’ Lot, Mount Moriah Cemetery Naval Plot and Prospect Hill Cemetery Soldiers’ Lot.

Any applications/forms for this program can be found on the forms page.
