POW MIA Recognition Day at Post 748

Loretto American Legion Post 748 held a ceremony on Sept. 20 recognizing POW-MIA Recognition Day, which is commemorated on the third Friday of every September. Tammy Parker, a veteran member of the Loretto American Legion and board member, led the ceremony and provided many details of its history and meaning. The above photo is of the Legion Honor Guard.
