Replacement VA Marker
On 24 November 2024 Carl Huszar of the Manor American Legion Post 472 and William Bray of the Trafford American Legion Post 331 installed a replacement VA marker for Pvt Angus Arbuckle at the Union Cemetery in Irwin, PA.
Pvt Arbuckle was assigned to 83rd Company, 6th Regiment, 2nd Division U.S Marines. A.E.F. He was killed in action on 4 October 1918 in St Etienne France.
Pvt Arbuckle was awarded the Silver Star and the Croix de Guerre for his actions in combat resulting in his death.
Tabs were played and Hand Salute rendered.
