ITS A GOOD THING YOU DO AWARD
The “It’s a Good Thing You Do” Award is designated to recognize the countless good deeds performed in communities throughout our Commonwealth. Any Post, Unit, Squadron or individual member performing “good deeds.”
NOMINATION PROCEDURE: Each Judicial Section will submit one (1) recipient. The recipient may be a Post, Unit, Squadron or individual member whose acts promote good will and show our communities that TheAmerican Legion is involved and we do care. Submissions should include this form and supporting documents, as necessary.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: These may include letters from civic groups, churches, other veteran organizations, fellow veterans, news clippings, program cost receipts (copies), etc.
DEADLINES: The Department Adjutant must receive submissions no later than May 22, 2025. The Department Commander will present the winner with an award at our Department Convention.
