NEW POST HOME COMMITTEE

New Post Home Committee met 6-8-24 via zoom.

Class 1 winner Henry Hill Post 385, Philadelphia. This Post had a flood, performed a remodel that took 3 months and had a value after completion of $7500.00

Class 2 winner Behler Heim Post 637. This project took almost 4 months to complete. They added a new addition to their building at a cost of $200,000! This project included acquiring more land, and is a beautiful addition to their building.

Class 5 winner The World War I Post 109, Mechanicsburg. Their project was a $400,000 project that took over a year! The project was a refurbishment of an unused floor that contained a ballroom. There were countless volunteer hours on this project. They also had a 2nd project and that was acquiring additional property for parking due to the increased volume of members now visiting their newly renovated Post. They purchased a vacant overgrown parking lot. Their 2nd project had minimal expense, as most of the work was completed by member volunteers.
