Delegates from across the country are headed to New Orleans for the 2024 ALA National Convention in the coming days. In addition to electing new officers and amending the National Constitution & Bylaws, those on-site will have an opportunity to honor our nation’s heroes by participating in the Wall of Heroes.

The Wall of Heroes — previously known as the #GivingTuesday booth — gives National Convention attendees the opportunity to honor a hero in their life by making a donation to the ALA Foundation in their honor. Donors write the names of their honoree on a paper star and adhere it to the Wall of Heroes installation, sponsored by AmWins Group Benefits LLC.

If you plan to livestream the National Convention from afar, you can still participate in this meaningful tribute by making a gift to the ALA Foundation. Your generous contribution will not only support the vital programs and initiatives of the ALA Foundation, but also allows you to express your love, admiration, and gratitude for a service member in a meaningful way.
